HON Furniture: Create a Dynamic Classroom Environment

Education Furniture That Works With Your Classroom

As lesson plans focus on collaboration and integration, shouldn’t your classroom furniture do the same? As a certified HON Dealer, we can help you create a classroom with furniture that allows students to interact in various configurations. Below are some of our most popular HON lines for education settings of all shapes and sizes.

HON SmartLink

Whether your class consists mostly of lectures, group work, or labs, there’s a layout for your classroom that the HON SmartLink can adapt to. For students, the curved worksurface allows for unique configurations, all while leaving room for devices to be plugged in, and room for notepads or other accessories. Desks can be configured in U-shapes, groups of four, and opposite from each other for group projects. For lectures or tests, the desk can be set for left handed, right handed, or forward positions. The SmartLink student desks are also available as adjustable height desks and sit-to-stand desks.

The SmartLink’s teacher station integrates mobility with technology. Your teachers can have both open or closed cabinets with built in trays and shelves, a side panel power cabinet, along with a full width cable management system. For classroom assistants, there is a smaller model for even more mobility to assist students when needed. You can see more examples of SmartLink solutions for teachers and students in this brochure.

HON Motivate

Motivate is a popular options for institutions of higher learning because of it’s ability to offer outlets to all students using a laptop or other devices. Various chair options can be combined with motivate tables, including high-density, four-leg stackers, nesting, swivel chairs and stools. You’ll also be able to customize Motivate with add-ons such as tablet arms for your chairs, presentation carts, mobile markerboards and an Interlink IQ Electrical system that allows electricity for up to eight tables, while only plugging in to one outlet. For settings where multiple instructors teach out of one classroom, tables and chairs can be stowed away.
